Why does selling first and then buying work so well in today’s market?
Does it make sense to buy a new home and then sell, or sell and then buy? Maybe you’re like so many of us and you’ve been in your home for the past year and have realized you need another office space or you want to put a pool in.
You can sell your home and then buy your new home.
Your first option is to buy first. You can put an offer in on a property that would be contingent on selling your current property. In today’s competitive market, sellers are not in favor of those offers right now. However, we have some other ideas to get you into your new home.
What you can do is sell your current home first and then buy your new home. We’re seeing a lot of people putting their homes on the market and receiving great offers with a rent-back period included. This lets you close on your home and gives you 60 to 90 days to put in a non-contingent offer on a new property.
What if something appealing never comes on the market? We have lots of options to look at, ranging from off-market homes to circle prospecting in certain neighborhoods. We will make sure that you are not homeless, and we will find you a perfect home.
